AJ2 3 x 0.115 nail is used for framing. This nail can take the place of an 10d common framing nail. It has superior holding power.

The AJ2 Steel 3" x 0.115 Ring Shank nail is a type of nail commonly used in framing applications or any wood to wood applications. When it says, "replaces the following 10d Common to 16d Sinker, it means it." See ICC report # ESR-5210.
